Minnesota's North Shore 2015
Phew! I finally got caught up with all of my work from last Fall and I now have some time to post a few personal photos that I wasn’t able to before because I was so busy! But busy is a good thing, don’t get me wrong, I’m not complaining, but if you find yourself thinking that it doesn’t really look like this outside in Minnesota right now, that is because these were shot last Fall.
Tim and I actually got to attend a wedding last Fall as guests! Crazy right?! It was pretty nice to just enjoy the moment and the beauty of the day and of course once reception time hit I had to check out the wine selection. La Crema Pinot Noir was my choice for the night. Pretty decent stuff for a wedding. Yum!
We took advantage of the beautiful weather we were having and the fact that it was our anniversary weekend as well and turned it into a longer stay, rented a little cabin and did some hiking.
Even though we have been to Minnesota’s North Shore many times, there are still places that are new to us, such as Iona’s Beach. Iona’s Beach is a scientific and natural area where all of the rocks are the pink rhyolite.
Our neighbors were married on the shores of Lake Superior, so during their reception as the sun was setting, Tim and I went out to the shore to shoot some photos of each other. I usually don’t like having photos taken of myself, but I was dressed up and it was a beautiful night and I had, had a few glasses of Pinot Noir, so I was feeling good. I also don’t usually post this many pictures of myself so get a good look while you can!
If you ask a stranger to take your photo, it is important that you tell them how to use the manual focus.
I love these! You guys look great!
