A Minnehaha Creek Engagement Session
I’ve known Erika and her mom for many years now, we used to work together in the catering business. Yes, before I was photographing weddings, I was serving people food and booze at weddings, I just can’t seem to get away from them!
I was so flattered when I first met up with Erika and Hollis to talk about their wedding when Erika told me that she knew she wanted me to be her photographer ever since we first met and she started viewing my work!
Erika and Hollis were High School sweethearts and have been traveling the world together teaching English in other countries and doing many wonderful things for others together. They are just good people that want to make the world a better place by being nice and helpful to others. I love that about them. I also love that they are so genuine and so sweet with each-other. This was their first time having professional photos taken of the two of them and I think they are naturals! They weren’t even bothered by the little bit of rain/snow mixture that was falling on our heads. We went to the park where Hollis proposed to Erika for a few photos and then we headed to a neighborhood cafe to warm up with some hot chocolate. Once again, the weather was quite unseasonable for a Minnesota December.
