Kansas City!

If you read my previous post, you will already know that Tim and I went down to Kansas City, MO/KS so that I could partake in Justin & Mary’s What’s Next tour.  But I also wanted to share with you some of the places we visited.  Tim and I both have a love for beautiful, old architecture.  I especially like the art deco style.  We ended up staying (through Priceline) at the lovely Hotel Phillips in downtown Kansas City, MO.  The lobby is stunning!  Every item appears to have been glazed in a golden sheen and there are so many intricate details to look at in every direction.  Most buildings are simply not made with this amount of care these days.

We also love to check out the restaurants in every city we go to.  I especially love trying new, fancy drinks!  Two of the restaurants that we fell in love with were, The Farmhouse and Harry’s Country Club, not only for their food and drinks, but for their atmosphere as well.

This drink had pink peppercorns in it!

These pomegranate mimosas were not only tasty, but entertaining as well!  The little pomegranate seeds would bounce up and down amongst the champagne bubbles!

Now it’s time to save up for our next adventure!
