Badlands, Black Hills & Devils Tower
If you follow my personal instagram @winenaturecatgirl then you might know that my husband and I just completed the Hiking Club Trail system through the Minnesota State Parks. So that means that we made it to all of Minnesota’s State Parks! It took us 7 years but that’s cool cause we wanted to spread it out and enjoy the scenery.
So now we are chiseling away at the National Parks! Just parks, not monuments and other “National” things, but if we can fit those in too, BONUS! We have made it to 11 National Parks so far and I think there are 61 or 62? This may take us a bit longer.
We’ve been to The Badlands before but decided we needed to visit it again since it’s not too far away. The Badlands holds such mystery as well as spirituality for many people. We had perfect timing as a snow storm had gone through in April and then another one in May after we left. May snowstorms people!??? We saw lots of birds and long horned sheep and baby sheep had just been born so we saw some of those too.
We ended our trip by visiting Devils Tower in Wyoming again because it’s just weird and Tim needed a stamp for his book or something!
