Another Lovely Venue - The Landing

The Landing or “Murphy’s Landing” as I knew it growing up is part of the Three Rivers Park District and you can now have weddings there.  This would be an amazing spot for anyone who loves history, as there are several historic buildings on the premises.  One of these buildings is an actual old fashioned church that you can choose to have your ceremony in.  Or if you prefer a grand vista, you could hold your ceremony just outside the church, overlooking the beautiful Minnesota River.  Right next to both the view and the church is a picnic style pavilion to hold your reception.  Having your reception and ceremony in the same spot can often make things much easier on your wedding day!  You can also hire a horse drawn buggy to escort your guests!  This is a really beautiful spot, with endless locations for photographs and everyone working here is super friendly.  I can’t wait to photograph a wedding at The Landing!

For this event the interior of the church was artfully decorated by Leslie Johnson of Positively Charmed.  The horse drawn buggy was provided by Fahey Carriage Service and the event was put on by TCWEP.
